Centered around 17 Shing Wong Street, an old hilly neighborhood that's just a stone's throw away from downtown Hong Kong, this little collection titled "Down Memory Lane" captures the moment and whimsical spirit of a lively and breathing community. The cornerstone of the series - a 1950s era walk-up building - celebrates its 70th year birthday this year as it overlooks the surrounding block that is now commencing redevelopment work.
Keep our memories of Hong Kong alive!

The happy corner where people from all walks of life come together with their four-legged friends to catch up over coffee, work on their notebook, or spend a lazy morning watching the world go by. Shaded by this 70-year-old, post-war era three-storey walk-up, this corner is where time slows down, and where the local community breathes life to this quaint, quiet neighborhood that seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.
Here at Shing Wong Street, every day is a Sunday.
(And yes, the soaring cuckatoo is real and also calls this neighborhood home!)
