LIMITED PRINT | The Cardboard Granny

Cardboard Grannies are a painstakingly familiar sight throughout Hong Kong. In a city marked by striking socioeconomic disparity, this feeble, elderly woman represents the thousands of others who tirelessly and silently rid our streets of waste cardboard for a living. Frequently seen hunching over their rusty metal carts, stacked high with cardboard scraps and wading through heavy traffic, ‘cardboard grannies’ are a reality that has become normalized in Hong Kong. Though a sight familiar to all, they are painfully invisible in society.

• Professionally printed with archival ink on museum-grade, fade-resistant 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, this print is meant to last you a lifetime with crisp, vibrant colors

• Individually hand signed and numbered (not shown in picture)

• Frame is not included and pictured only for visual purposes
