The Cardboard Granny

In a city marked by striking wealth inequality and an aging population with limited means in getting by, this frail, elderly 'cardboard granny’ represents the thousands of others who tirelessly and silently rid our streets of waste cardboard, frequently seen wading through traffic and busy sidewalks behind heavily laden carts. Though a familiar sight to all, they are also painfully invisible in society.
