Centered around hilly Shing Wong Street, a century-old neighborhood built on granite steps just a stone's throw away from downtown, ”Tales of a Ladder Street” is a mini series that captures the timelessness and the whimsical spirit of a vibrant, living community. The heart of the series —a 1950s era walk-up, celebrates its 70th birthday this year as it overlooks the surrounding quarter —an area which has now officially commenced revitalization work.

Get lost in this whimsical vintage store tucked in the corner of 17 Shing Wong Street. Behind the weathered blue shutter gates, a whole world awaits as an array of vintage collectibles, toys, memorabilia, and quirky treasures beckons you to step in, lose yourself, and take a trip back in time to Hong Kong of a bygone era. Featuring an original 1960s hand-woven wicker chair and vintage embroidered dress. The hand-painted floor tiles are original from the 1950s too.
